Terms of service
Draft for the public service · Written October 26, 2026. Public registration is not currently available. The effective date will be announced after the server provider, storage country and deletion procedures are finalized and verified. This document does not apply retroactively to all existing classroom distributions.
1. Service and roles
Codebitda supports writing and running code and submitting assignments and exams. Instructors manage classes and submission folders and register teaching assistants; students join the classes provided to them. Selecting the instructor role does not certify employment as a professor.
2. User responsibilities
Users must protect their accounts and class access details and must not impersonate others or access or modify submissions without authorization. Instructors must explain submission data, retention periods and grading criteria to students and obtain the necessary permissions and consent.
3. Running code and assessment
Run code you wrote or are authorized to use. Do not run code that harms devices or networks or disrupts the service. Output comparisons do not guarantee that structural requirements are met. Instructors determine final grades and handle appeals.
4. Storage and service issues
Execution, backups and submissions may be delayed or fail due to connectivity, device conditions, or Google service policies and storage limits. Users must check submission confirmation and report errors to their instructor and support. The service provider investigates errors and provides appropriate guidance and improvements.
5. Copyright and termination
Rights to questions, code and submissions remain with their respective owners. The operator handles them only as necessary to provide the service and carry out user requests. Account closure and data deletion may be requested under the privacy policy procedures.
6. Public availability, changes and contact
Public registration and purchases are not currently offered. Supported platforms, any fees and their terms, and the effective date will be announced on public launch. Changes to these terms will be posted on the website. Send inquiries to codepretender.dev@gmail.com . These terms do not limit users' rights under applicable law.
